Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is known for playing in a popular TV series called 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started in his early college days. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and on television but it's his performances in small screen productions that earned him a lot of attention. He's managed to play effortlessly characters from both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. On his debut TV show in which he was the lead of a murderer. Later, he was able to play the part of for an NYPD Detective. The small screen performances of his have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make him look handsome. They have helped to portray rough characters in a attractive manner. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
